Program Overview

Program Design
The Business Information Technology programme that is offered in Cairo is based on the identical programme that has been running successfully at Middlesex University in London for a number of years. The programme is a 180 -credit point programme. It utilizes four 30 credit points (4×30 cps) modules and a postgraduate project (60 cps).
Program Content
Middlesex University Business Information Technology Masters Degree is focusing on methods for improving existing information systems within organisations and the processes involved in moving to new or revised computer-based information systems. Topics on database management system structure, operation of computer networks, server programming skills, security and internet marketing will be studied.

Middlesex University Masters of Science in Business Information Technology is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS), the only chartered professional institution for the field of information systems engineering in the UK as well as the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) which provides an integrated quality assurance service for UK higher education institutions.
Practical Information
Location: Regional IT Institute premises, Zamalek, Cairo, Egypt
Duration: 180 Credit points – 24 month.
Schedule: twice a week from 18:00 to 22:00 hrs.
Registration Requirements
Completed application form, two recommendation letters, current resume, four passport sized photos, TOEFL 233 (computer based) or 575 (paper based) score or an IELTS score of 6.5, a second class honours degree or above in a discipline related to the course. Applicants with degrees in other disciplines who can demonstrate relevant industrial experience can also be accepted. (All documents have to be submitted in the English Language)
