The Maastricht School of Management (MSM), located in the Netherlands, is a globally networked management school that provides state-of-the-art management education to managers and mid-career professionals from many different countries. The school's objective is to enhance professional competence and enrich the lives and careers of those involved in the practice of management. They balance management theory with practical experience and research in a multicultural and multidisciplinary setting. Its activities translate that into specific efforts for executive training, degree granting, business consulting, and management research. The school grants degrees at the MBA, PhD, and DBA levels. Annually, more than 2,500 postgraduate students from over 40 different countries attend MSM's programs worldwide. The University of Louisville is a state supported research university located in Kentucky's largest metropolitan area. It was a municipally supported public institution for many decades prior to joining the university system in 1970. The University has three campuses. The 274-acre Belknap Campus is three miles from downtown Louisville and houses seven of the university's 11 colleges and schools. The Health Science Center is situated in downtown Louisville's medical complex and houses the university's health related programs and the University of Louisville Hospital. On the 243-acre Shelby Campus located in eastern Jefferson County are the National Crime Prevention Institute and the Information Technology Resource Center.
